Pam, Johnathan, Savannah I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Gallup. I had the honor and privilege of working for him as one of his nurses. He was a very special man and doctor. He always had the time to come into the chemo room to see how things were going or just to sit and chat with Cathy and I. He will be missed tremendously by not only you and the family, but by his patients, colleagues, and the gynecologic oncology community. I have a lot of special memories and will cherish each of them.

Dear Pam,Jonathan,& Savanna, I was shocked to learn that Don had died while I was away over the weekend & didn't know about the open visitation until it was too late. Having known him for over 35 yrs, I have many stories & a few photos to share with you as the memorial requests. He was a mentor, friend,& colleague who taught me much about surgical skill, clinical judgement,& bedside manner during our time on Taiwan in the Navy.He took care of my beloved Patricia in those early yrs. His most endearing quality is that he was one of the nicest people I've ever known.May the knowledge that he is in God's arms give you comfort. 'May God raise him up on eagles wings...and hold him in the palm of His hand.' Love, Patricia & Larry Ruf

Pam, Savanna and Johnathan, I am truly saddened for your loss. Dr. Gallup was a wonderful man. I had the honor of working with Dr Gallup the past five years. I can honestly say that he is the most compassionate, caring physician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I feel honored to have worked with such a brilliant physican. His nickname for me was Granny, he always took the time to ask me how I was and how my children were doing. He truly cared about his staff. He always put the needs of others before himself. He was devoted father and his face always lit up when he would tell stories about Savanna and Johnathan. He was truly one of a kind, and the world is a better place because of him. I know I for one am a better person because I had the priveledge to learn from him. I will always have a special place in my heart for Skippy. Memorial will not be the same without him.
